Let's start with a simple question: How many "free" programs have you signed up for that promised to make you rich? Probably too many to remember. And how rich have they made you? Well, you are still looking, aren't you? Don't feel badly about that. I've fallen into many of their traps too - millions of intelligent people have. All I managed to do was get myself on a LOT of email lists!
I'll let you in on a little secret: there is absolutely NO "free" program on the 'net that will make you rich. It's possible, with a lot of work, to make some money - but certainly not enough to retire on.
The main problem with "free" programs and business opportunities is they cost a LOT of your valuable time and energy to make any money. Since "time is money", there goes the word "free" right out the window!
Next, there are programs that charge a fee to enter, and promise riches beyond your wildest dreams. BUT you still need to sell, promote, recruit, advertise, sponsor and work your tail off in order to see any return on your money. I don't know about you, but MY time is better spent with my family and friends than in front of my computer for hours and hours every week just to make a buck or two.
Finally there are the online opportunities that want to "train" you how to become some kind of guru that can sell information to the rest of the world. Now selling information online is a profitable business, but it costs a lot of money to purchase the training, it costs a lot of money to create your website, and it costs a lot of money to get traffic to your site. Or you can go the cheap route (traffic exchanges, banners, etc) which, once again, requires a LOT of your time spent advertising and promoting etc. Here we are back on that merry-go-round yet again!
